Zions Flame
In each generation there is a remnant of those who are hungry for more, who aren't satisfied with status quo, who are willing to go where no one has gone before. The prayers and passion of those remain as a live coal on the altar contributing to the Eternal Flame that burns. When the Lord begins to stir a new generation and finds some, even one, who are willing to be stirred, He sends His angels with sensors containing the live coals from His Eternal Flame of those who went before, and it becomes the ember that starts a new fire in that generation. Each era, city, county, state, nation, church organization etc has an inheritance waiting in the Fire. Someone went before them where others would not go and their prayers and passion are contributing to the Fire of revival waiting to ignite again. As the Lord was showing me this, I was reminded of a vision I have had several times since June of 2000. I was given a vision of Mt. Zion. At the top is an eternal flame that burns continually. It is dark in the vision so it accentuates the light of the flame making it very visible from afar. Around the mountain is a path that has been hewn by those what have gone before us. It winds up and around making its way to the top. All along the path, at different levels, there are people carrying lanterns that contain a small flame of fire (our prayers and passion). As each person gets to the top of the mountain their flame, coal, is combined with the Eternal Flame that beckons each one of us. That night in 2000 when I saw this vision for the first time I began to sing a song to about what I saw. I believe it is for you too! (the
reason I capitalize Eternal Flame and Fire is because HE is the Eternal
Flame, HE is the Fire!)
