Positional Anointing
The Lord has been speaking to me about a "positional" anointing/presence. What I mean by this is there is a direct correlation between where you have positioned yourself geographically and whom you have positioned yourself under in that area that bring an abiding manifestation of His presence into your life. This does not negate our own responsibility to remain pure in heart in order to experience His presence but it does significantly increase His presence if we are walking according to His will. Let me give you an example of what I am talking about: Several years ago I attended many meetings out in the Humble area and some that were around the Intercontinental Airport area as well as in my current area of residence. While I received much from the Lord in those meetings there was not the lasting presence that I experienced while in the actual meeting. The next day or two it would fade away and I would feel dry again. Even though this was a time of progressive deliverance for me I still knew that I wasn't experiencing what others were experiencing on a consistent basis (I'm not talking about just outward manifestation I'm talking about an abiding). The presence did however last longer after the meetings in my own area of residence. Now, several years later and after much deliverance from "religion" and strongholds the Lord is showing me the importance of where we are, where we live and whom we are under.
It's not enough to just go to meetings here and there anymore looking for revival and the Glory of God. There must come in every area a covering for the people in that area. You might consider an area a "district" or a "region". As the Lord was speaking to me about this He referred to this covering as an "Apostolic Covering". There are Pastors and leaders in each area that are called to lay down their own agendas with total humility to do what God wants to do in a particular area. God hasn't called them to come up with programs and all of the other man made ideas. He has called them to admit that He is the Great I AM and they ARE NOT. That He is everything and they are NOTHING, that they can do absolutely nothing without Him. Those who aren't interested in building a name for themselves but who are interested in fading into nothingness so that He alone can become the Name that is built up.
The Lord said that there are not many who have answered this call. It has a high price and not many are willing to pay it even though the reward is so great. Many will have to stop everything and "go back to square one so to speak" which means admitting that many of their plans and programs weren't God ideas after all but pride won't let them do that so they will miss the higher calling. But for those who will answer His call there will be an open portal of power and fulfillment over their area. There will be a level of protection, shelter, safety (peace) and a place of refuge for the hungry, weary and poor
The blessing that comes with that kind of obedient authority will be made manifest to those who come under that tent. This open portal of the manifest blessing of His presence will not only cover their own congregations but will given to those who visit their services at times yet belong to another congregation. This open portal will also be felt in other congregations in their area but not as strongly.
