New Dawn Breaking
While driving in my city on a major highway I noticed a rooster eating in the large median in the center of the road. He has been there the last couple of weeks, and passing by without noticing him is not easy. There are never any animals in this triangular area of the city streets. The city has two main entrances in and out. On this highway there are three choices , one can go to the right or the left or take the overpass. I asked the Lord what He was saying to us through the rooster.
There are choices we are making. We either will go to the Lord, or take a road He has not directed us to take. The road is narrow toward Him, and we must listen hard, pull close to Him, wait and be ready to act. The cock is about to crow...are we listening? He crows when the new day is about to break forth. The Son is coming and even the rooster knows innately. To crow means to make a sound whether human or animal . It is to cry aloud, to disclose and address for a purpose. The root word for rooster is, ‘ to ward off.’ In Matthew 26:37 Jesus said to Peter, ‘Before the rooster crows three times, you will deny me’. There are choices in the spirit realm also. Every passing car must see this bird. The city fathers, the workmen, businessmen commuting to the large city nearby , wives running errands, children riding with parents. One little three year old told her brother to kill that rooster and he asked her, ‘Why?’. She replied, ‘Because there is chicken in it’. She knew there was more to that old rooster than what met the natural eye.
The Lord is revealing to believers to see there is much going on in the spirit realm. It is a noisy, active , and busy place. Whatever is taking place in the spirit is also manifesting in the natural. He desires to awaken our hearts making them alert. Alert for the opportunities He gives to repent , to listen, and to have your ears dug out by Him daily, in the quietness of your soul. Are anger and bitterness ruling in your lives? He wants it because time is short. Are jealousy and haughtiness food for your spirit? He comes to set the captives free. He is speaking for you to listen to the prophetic symbols he places in your path. Do not be dull of hearing and slow to act. .
There is a battle for cities and much prayer has gone up and the bowls are full, saying come Lord Jesus. First to the Body of Christ, then to the lost and dying world. Give us the wake up call we need in our spirits to care for the cities. Give us the boldness of the early morning crowing rooster. He does not care if those who hear are offended. He knows he has a message and it is “THE MORNING IS COMING”...Come Lord Jesus, as The Morning Song.
The Lord desires to set our hearts on fire for Him with a Holy Passion. He will do whatever it takes to get us to the point of trusting Him. He wants all of me , all of you, all of His Bride. He positions Himself to meet our hearts in a desperate encounter of love. Our prayer should be, ‘Engrave and carve your initials in my heart, Jesus’. The treasures of our hearts, thoughts, and words are being seen by Him, is He ravished by what He sees?
The rooster speaks to the unbeliever that there is more in this world than the natural eye can envision. This disclosure is to ward off the consequences of a hard heart. Ps 42:7...all your waves and breakers have swept over me. Pray for the cleansing of their hearts by His waves and torrents of His love. How can they hear if their hearts are covered over with a veil of apathy that makes them feel safe. The passionate heart of Jesus cries for His lost generations. Be still and hear, he is about to crow. The return of our Bridegroom is accelerating.....all creation cries out....listen to the rooster prophesy.
