Just before Thanksgiving 2005 I was waiting on the Lord and pondering the trials and blessings of the year. Having been in a test of faith for several months already I was asking Him "how long Lord,". I heard "by the end of December". Since I had been asking Him to work in me all of the inner lessons that are important to Him in the midst of a trial, to deal with my soulish nature, my focus was not so much on when the trial would end but when His inner dealing with my soul would begin to bear fruit. My response was "that's too long Lord, you can't leave me like this until the end of the year"! I immediately heard Psalm 65: 11-12 "You crown the year with your goodness and your paths drip with abundance, they drop on the pastures of the wilderness and the little hills rejoice on every side".

The picture He was painting was that if we spiritually walk on His path in the realm of heaven, in the earth, the abundance drips from that level onto the earthly path we take. The concept is that we are walking in heaven on the earth. Isaiah 48:13 says "Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth and My right hand has stretched out the heavens, when I call to them they stand up together". He calls heaven and earth to stand up together. There is a place in Him where we must allow ourselves to come to where we walk in that heavenly realm while in the earth. This, no doubt, stretches our thought process and theology but it is non-the-less true and we must, if we are to move forward, embrace it and walk in it. Heaven is calling our name, to a higher place in Him to live, breath and walk in eternity NOW, not later but NOW, to embrace our destiny and all its fullness NOW.

Eternity keeps moving and if we are to dwell with Him so must we. We must hunger for that eternal realm where He dwells. We must desire, more than anything else, to walk in that place where He is, deep in eternity where all time, as we know it, stands still yet eternity keeps moving. It is a mystery that He wants to unfold to us. Asking Him to stir us until everything in us desires to eat, live, speak and breathe eternity and to dwell in that place, to see from that perspective, to hear from that place and not the temporal place of limited vision and understanding in the earth alone. Lately, I have found myself praying "Bring your heaven into my earth and raise my earth up to meet your heaven".

The wings of heaven are hovering. They are wings of darkness and of light, hiding us in darkness, not to be found by the enemies accusations or hopelessness and despair yet filtering in to our inmost being great light, the sounds of heaven in the earth saying "come dwell with Me in the place where I AM and only I can take you. Feel the passion of My heart for you - feel the passion - see the flame ablaze for you. Come, come and dwell with Me, forsake all others and all else to come and dwell with Me. I have prepared you for this time and this season. Come and dwell and hide in Me and in My sovereign plan for your destiny. Come and partake of My bread of My faith and of My anointing and I will surely sustain you in all you do. Don't look to man - look to My sovereignty - don't look to man - look to My sovereignty."

He is crowning this year with His goodness by teaching us how to walk in the realm where the path drips with abundance so that all future years will be full of His abundance and favor!
