Over the years there have been many, many prophetic words, dreams and visions regarding the Astrodome being used for church services. Most of us have looked at that in our humanly limited way seeing literal church services and Christian concerts. In the aftermath of Katrina and now with Rita threatening the Gulf Coast we have seen and are seeing what those words, dreams and visions really meant. We have seen the Astrodome, churches and other places in Houston become a refuge for those in need, a place of shelter from the storm and devastation, a place of recovering from tragedy, receiving much needed support both physically, emotionally and spiritually. This, my friends, is what the CHURCH of Jesus Christ should look like! People helping people, reaching out to the community, living beyond the four walls of the church building and beyond ourselves.
