Bush/Moses

On Wednesday morning as I was driving in to work, I was praying for this city, state and nation. I heard very loud in my spirit "Burning Bush" and at that point my intercession increased for the elections. That afternoon as I was talking to Tara she mentioned an article by Bobby Conner in which he stated that the Lord spoke to him and said that if the church would pray He would again speak through a burning bush. I have been asking for more understanding of this since then and this morning this is what I understood as the Holy Spirit posed these questions:

The question came to mind--who did God speak to from the burning bush? My immediate answer was: Moses.

Next question--what did Moses do? My answer was: confronted Pharaoh and brought the people deliverance out of Egypt.

Next question--who sat under Moses' leadership and mentoring? who was the closest to him in the midst of all of the rebellion and even in the tabernacle where the glory of God rested in a tangible way? My answer was: Joshua.

Last question--what is the name that this generation of young people of young people have been given? My answer was: " The Joshua Generation.

We have heard for several years that God is raising up a "Joshua" generation but haven't seen it come into it's fullness. I believe that the "Burning Bush" He will speak through from the White House will do two things concerning God's plan for this nation:
  1. Open the door for "Moses" (those who have been in the wilderness training and being tested and refined) to confront Pharaoh in this nation--the bondage and idolatry that consume this nation, even the church.

  2. Mentoring and providing a covering for the "Joshua's" that God wants to release to bring stability in this nation. Those who will be like Joshua, and stay in the tabernacle in the presence of the glory of God, learning from the Lord, taking it all in, receiving the impartation of wisdom and revelation that can only come from being in His presence. Joshua knew that there was only so much that he could get from Moses and the rest he could only get from staying in the presence of a Holy God. That is why he stayed behind in the tabernacle when Moses would leave (Ex. 33:11, KJV).

This is truly a pivotal time for this nation, we MUST pray in unison and with a fervency for God's will to be done. Our future and the future of our kids depends on it.
