Daughters of Liberty Declaration for 2009
October 9, 2008

This year's Day of Atonement was rather low key. As many of you know, the Houston area was hit by a major hurricane on Sept 13, and this South Texas area is still feeling the effects of Ike.

I sent emails to those that would normally gather for the day and suggested that everyone have their own Day of Atonement as this was the original vision the Lord gave me. That I would gather women for the first few and then hopefully they would go out and gather others the next year. Some have already done this and this really is what God had in mind. Like sowing seed, wouldn't it be great if there were groups of people everywhere that took this 24 hour period to be a symbol of the constant communion we are to be having with the Lord all the time?

Last year's theme was 'The Heavenly Man', indicating that the Lord's rule and reign were going to be entering the earth like never before through His people, not dropping out of the sky. That great disruption would be felt, as the Kingdom of Christ and the kingdom of darkness collide, it looks and feels rather messy. What could be mistaken as the world and financial markets falling apart are really the 'Godvernment' (not a typo!) of God invading man's government. The Kingdom Comes!

Anytime the Lord visits a person, a family, a city, a nation, our world, there is initially chaos. This is the mark of deliverance, or the Kingdom coming. One must experience what they need delivering from in order to get delivered. I was in bondage to fear for many years in my walk with the Lord. I really had no idea that I had the fears that I did, until the Lord came face to face with me and I began to get delivered from fear. I had to face every fear I had, I had to experience the fear in order to get delivered from it. I had to let the Kingdom come 'in my life'. God wanted His Kingdom to be seen in me, not the fear that Satan would have liked to use to keep me from entering the Kingdom. This is not our salvation, but rather a deeper trust in the Lord where He can use us to display the King and His Kingdom to others.

The same goes for America at this time, again, the Kingdom Comes! There has been greed and lies and deception in the leadership of this nation and the leadership of the American church. We have seen over and over again God exposing sexual sin, greed, betrayal, and such in the church over the last several years (Galatians 5:17-21).

At the same time God is exposing the sin that has entangled America. The sins seems to be familiar, the same as that of the American church. God is laying Wall Street to Main Street wide open so that our sin can be exposed and dealt with. Deliverance is messy, but the result will far outweigh the messiness. Ps 30:5 declares 'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.' We must keep our eyes on Jesus, and know that the Creator of all is in control, and the Kingdom has come within a people that are to rule and reign with Him. With that said, let's move on to the revelation given for 2009 Day of Atonement.

Part 1--Theme and Verse
The Kingdom Comes
Luke 17:20-21

Luke 17:21 The Kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, or when people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you.

What does the Kingdom look like? It looks like a body of believers that walk and flow in His "Now" presence all day long. They begin to hear what the Father hears, they begin to see what the Father sees, regardless of what they hear and see in the natural. It is a willingness to be the conduit to let heaven flow out of you into the earth no matter where or what the situation is. God's Kingdom comes through you!

Some of the American church has put any reference to the Kingdom in the future. Christians in third world countries depend on the King and His Kingdom for now. When you have no hospitals, when do people need to get healed? NOW! When you have no grocery stores, when do people need to eat? NOW! When you have governments that can't or won't take care of you, when do you need the King and His Kingdom? NOW!

The American church has become very self sufficient, and because of that we have put the King and His Kingdom in the future, when we die and go to heaven. It seems to me that God is putting America where other Christians from other nations have been, we need the future King and His Kingdom NOW! Again, that is why everything seems to be out of control, we have 2 kingdoms clashing. The Kingdom comes to America, and it is displacing the world kingdom.

It was Jesus in this Luke passage that scolded the Pharisees who asked Him when the Kingdom would come by saying, 'The Kingdom of God doesn't come by counting the days on the calendar. Or when someone says, 'Look here!' or, 'There it is!' And why? Because God's kingdom is already within you." He was standing before them, the King of the Kingdom and they were still looking for it.

In other words, quit listening to those who say, the Kingdom is coming at the rapture, or the Kingdom comes when you die. Listen to Jesus Himself, The Kingdom is not coming, it is already here, it is within you (He is within you as a believer). We must change our mindsets from a 'future only' Kingdom, to a 'present reality' as well.

Along with the 'present reality of the Kingdom' mindset, the church must refocus on the word 'revival'. When the church really gets the mindset of the Kingdom, Christians will stop running from 'revival' to 'revival', from this geographical location to that geographical location to get God. Remember Jesus said to the 'religious' mindset, (Luke 17:21), 'The Kingdom of God doesn't come by counting the days on the calendar. Or when someone says, 'Look here!' or, 'There it is!' And why? Because God's kingdom is already within you, because the King is within you. And what comes with the King? His Kingdom."

Those with the understanding or the revelation of Christ and His Kingdom will not be running here or there like the religious minded, but rather become a source for the Kingdom wherever they are. The Kingdom is within you, you must receive this by revelation to operate in it. If anyone is going to go somewhere geographically, it should be the unbeliever that is attracted to you because revival lives in you, not Christians that think they can get more of God by going somewhere else. There is no baby Jesus that lives in those who believe. It is the same mature, overcoming resurrected Christ that has already overcome the world.

It is the immature mindset that still looks here and there for the Kingdom, running here to a certain geographical location or running there to see the King and His Kingdom, (and isn't that Satan's plan anyway, to wear out the saints, religion will do it every time) when they themselves are the house the King and His Kingdom live in. As the mind matures and becomes renewed you will really find out, as Dorothy says in the Wizard of Oz, 'There's no place like home, His home in you. (more on that idea of home below)

I believe that God has been preparing a people to contain His Kingdom. The King shines brightly in the ones that have been through His fire. There have always been those who go before, like John the Baptist, who prepare the way. This is not some elite group, but those who have prayed 'let your Kingdom come, let your will be done', in me. In last years Declaration we talked about the women Pioneer's that plowed up the way for today's women pioneers. Women are being strategically placed this year, from the church to politics. Remember, when the Kingdom comes, it not only comes to the church but to all those cultural places that most Christians try to stay away from.

God is not only going to bring the Kingdom to His church, but use His church to bring the Kingdom to the world. His Kingdom is coming through a people to the church, to businesses, to the media, to the education system, to politics, to healthcare, to Hollywood, and most importantly to the home.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Genesis 47:29 Joseph promised Jacob that after Jacob died he would take his bones back to his homeland, and not leave him in Egypt. After Jacob was assured, the verse says, "He leaned on his staff and worshipped'.

This verse is so sweet to me. Just imagine being old and feeble and at the end of your life all you want to do is be assured that your family will take you back home. Home is a foundation for the family. As the family goes, so goes the nation. Psalm 69:9 declares, 'Zeal for Your house has consumed me'. The headlines in the paper during the Day of Atonement in the Houston Chronicle read, 'An open Door at God's House'. It was referring to a church that kept its doors open after the hurricane.

This was a confirmation that the Lord wants to establish the family foundations once again. At the end of the day, there is no better place to go than home.

During Hurricane Ike, many people, myself included, had to leave their homes. Our house did fine, but we had no power and ended up staying with relatives. I was grateful to have places to stay, but I just wanted to go home. On day 8 of no electricity I had a meltdown, because all I wanted to do was go home. I kept saying over and over, I just want to go home. Home became a more sacred and holy place because that is where our relationship with the Lord is formed. Not in church, not in bible study, but like Mary in her house, at the feet of the Master. (Luke 10:39)

Part 2
Color for Year
Blue

I believe this years color is blue. Blue is the color of the sky, and represents the heavens. The Kingdom is a heavenly mindset, not an earthly one. Again this refers to doing in the earth what the Father is doing in heaven, and saying in earth what the Father is saying in heaven.

Blue is also the color for revelation, heavenly revelation. Again, a Kingdom mentality must come from a Revelation of Jesus Christ Himself; this is not knowledge from man, rather revelation from God.

Blue can also represent the emotions during the times at hand. If you don't see with Kingdom eyes at what is happening, you can become distressed, depressed, or anxious. Keep your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Part 3
Number for the Year
911

The number this year is representative of emergency response. As God's Kingdom displaces the world system, we are experiencing a 'violence' in the earth (Matthew 11:12). This is seen in weather such as hurricanes and storms, and movement in the earth such as earthquakes.

The bible says, the whole earth is groaning for the manifestation of the Sons of God (Romans 8:19). In other words everything in the world is looking for the Kingdom to come, and it is coming 'in a prepared people'.

There is now more than ever a need for first responders. God Himself is a first responder. Jesus cared for the sick, the dying and the troubled. Ps 91:1 declares that when we dwell in the secret place of the Most High we will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

In this day of clashing kingdoms our best weapon is the rest of God. Knowing that all is well, even though our eyes may not see it, we must lay down in the boat like Jesus did and rest (Mark 4:35) knowing that our Father is Lord over the storms in the natural and the spiritual as well.

I believe the Lord is empowering those first responders that know Him to carry His healing touch and those first responders who don't to be drawn to the Lord as they do 'His work' of caring for others.

Part 4
Salt

Another thing on God's heart is salt. Everyone in the south Texas area knows that after IKE, there were big spots of salt water on our windows. It is like God saturated South Texas with salt.

Several years ago I had a dream where 2 angels came to put salt in my pool. At the time I had a chlorine pool, but we have moved and now I have a salt water pool. Just another indication that salt is on God's mind.
Let's look at salt, because what I think the Lord is saying is He wants His people to be salty. Mathew 5:13 says "You are salt for the earth. But if salt loses its taste, how will it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people".
Jesus is talking about His church losing its saltiness. A Kingdom people will be salt to a lost and dying world.

Attributes of salt:

1)
It Seasons--We are to make Jesus taste good to those around us. If we push too much salt, it will get us nowhere. Loving others is a good way to make those around us notice that we are tastefully seasoned with Jesus, and make them thirsty to want more.
2)
It Preserves--Salt preserves foods by creating a hostile environment for certain microorganisms to grow. This preservation protects the food from inevitable rot and decay that would come. God offers this same protection. Psalm 5: 11 says, "But let all who take refuge in you be glad." Living a life that demonstrates a confidence and security in God's protection gets the attention of others. It makes them question the peace they see in your life.
3)
It Heals--Salt in a wound can help the healing process. Of course, salt would not be the first choice of many because it stings. But pain is part of the healing process. We are to bring God's healing to those that are sick physically and mentally.

These are all attributes of Christ that He wants to release in His people that are carriers of His Kingdom.

Part 5
Day of His Power

Psalm 110:3 says that 'We will be voluntary lovers on the day of His Power'. You cannot talk to anyone who has been through a hurricane without a major part of that experience being about POWER. Most of South Texas was without power from 2-15 days!

On day 8 of no power, I felt so helpless! The day my power came on I was actually reading this scripture from Ephesians 1:17-23 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.

What is this power and when is the day of His power? It is 'resurrection power', and the day of His power is NOW!

Those who have come into the fullness of the Kingdom will be carriers of His power. That is the difference between other religions and religious people and those who know King Jesus, His power. You can have religion with knowledge and good works, but to have His power you must have King Jesus! And if you have the revelation of King Jesus, you will carry His Kingdom and His Power!

It is like God is unplugging His church from man's power, just like after the storm. Most churches run on man's power. If Jesus really showed up at our churches, would we recognize Him? Many of America's churches are built upon men's kingdoms. The glory of the Lord will come to rest on those that have built their ministries on the Kingdom of God; the others will dry up like so many movements that have been built by men.

I believe the Houston area is to bring forth believers that carry His healing power. A confirmation of that was that Downtown Houston and the Texas Medical Center were among the only areas that did not lose power after the storm. I feel that the Texas Medical Center is a prophetic sign that there is release of His healing power to those that walk in the Kingdom.

In Closing

Thank you for allowing At His Feet Ministries to give this revelation for your consideration. AHF holds very seriously the position of hearing from the Lord and I know that you will pray before you receive anything into your own heart. The world may be in chaos, but the good new is, The Kingdom Comes!
